Museum Trip
by Barbara Lehman
Houghton Mifflin 2006
Ages: All ages
Topic: Books without Words
A little boy goes to a museum with his class and gets separated from the others. He imagines that he becomes a part of the exhibits and finally, he hears his classmates in the room next to him and joins them, just in time to board the school bus.
This is a wonderful book because a child can tell his own story as he follows the illustrations by the Caldecott Honor illustrator of The Red Book. I wished I had a book like this to "read" while I was learning English. This book will be released in May 2006.
